Sterlomaxx Zephyr – Zephyr is a 5 stage filtration unit, hence requires periodic cleaning. Depending on your usage & the air quality in the room where Zephyr is being used, you may require cleaning once in 4 to 6 months.
Sterlomaxx Ionex – Ionex uses the power of negative Ions to clean the air of all pollutants. It has no moving parts, hence does not require cleaning. However the area surrounding Ionex may accumulate lots of dust around it, that should be mopped on regular basis.
Sterlomaxx Zephyr has been designed keeping in mind the ease of customer. It’s front cover can be opened without any tools. It has a safety switch that turns off the unit, the moment cover is opened. All the filters are cassette type filters, that can be simply pulled out by anyone & can be replaced easily after cleaning with airflow in reverse direction. Detailed cleaning procedure is provided in the user’s manual supplied with the unit.
Sterlomaxx Zephyr uses a combination of mechanical & electronic filters. While Dust, Carbon & HEPA are mechanical filters & life varies between 2 to 3 years depending on the usage & air quality in the room. UV has a life of 8000 burning hours & ESP is a lifelong filter & doesn’t require replacement.
